Karin had a good day today. Her radiation went well and took all of 10 minutes. She still has had no side effects from the treatment.

Karin wanted to say a big thank you for all the cards, flowers, gifts, emails, etc. She said she loves going to the mailbox to see what is in there. :) She feels loved and is blessed everyone.

Pray for another good night sleep for her and no side effects. Continue to pray for every bit of cancer to be removed from her body.

But those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isa. 40:31

Dear Karin(and Jeff).... It's been many years since we've spoken but when we heard your news today we couldn't help but let you know how incredibly brave we think you are and what an amazing witness you are to faith in God's love and the belief that he really is bigger than this.

You were a wonderful role model to our daughter Kimi back when you coached soccer to her and several of her friends here in Dublin. Your always upbeat positive attitude, understanding and good heart were true virtues you embodied as you coached honestly and fairly to all the girls. A young woman they could look up to, not always easily found today. We as parents felt fortunate to have you in such an important role in Kimi's life.

Kimi will be so sad to hear your news but I'm sure you know now that the word is out on your illness there will be tons and tons more prayers for God's healing touch and your continued strength and positive attitude. Know that there are lots and lots of people here in Dublin praying for you and your family....prayer is good and God is listening.

Who can believe your'e getting ready to run a marathon...and we're having a hard time lately convincing ourselves to get up off the couch and go for a good walk! You truly are amazing.

We will check back to hear of your progress so thank you to your friend for doing this and know our love and prayers are being sent to you everyday!

Karin and Family,

I've been wanting to post here since Beth started this blog, but haven't had the words. I've decided that I probably never will so I'll write what comes to my heart.

I know we've never met, but I feel as though I know you. I've heard so much about you and lately it's been about your Awesome spirit and your steadfast faith in our Lord. Please know that I and many of my friends and family are praying for you and your family. We have you covered here on the East Coast:0)

Just wanted you to know that I love you guys and I am praying for a complete healing for you Karin. The Lord is with you during this difficult time as He always is. Keep up your positive attitude and be assured there are many people praying for you and your family.
