"Lordy be", as Karin would say. Sure do miss that girl.
Terry just sent me an email saying that Karin's brother, Jonathan, and sister, Katie, are running the Nike Marathon this weekend in her place. I think that is AWESOME. You go! I can't think of a better way to honor her memory on her birthday.

Thank you Karen for helping ...still! I made my mom go in to the Dr to get something checked. Turns out it was pre-cancerous. I also got a test done and found out yesterday that one lump was benign(?spelling) the other is pre-cancerous. Because of her, we were checked!
The Nike marathon we were going to do is Sunday, and the race numbers are in pink! The SF Nike Marathon is now the largest womans marathon in the US, and I know of 5 already who are racing in her honor and memory! She would have loved all the pink! It is as if it was changed for her this year!We should add all of our miles up on Monday and see how many miles we all walked in her honor this weekend! God bless ya'll! Alisa Carino

If you are walking or running at the Nike Marathon tomorrow, and want a "Team Karin" ribbon for the marathon, call my cell phone 925-787-3948. I have a few made and extra ribbon if you want to make your own! If you write her name on a ribbon at put it on your back,people will yell"go Karin! It will be an inspiration and big push to help get you to the finish line!
