We are good on salads for the Celebration. We still need rolls, meat platters & cheese platters. Please email me if you would like to help.
In case I forgot to tell you via email, food should be dropped off at the church by 10AM on the morning of the service.
Please continue to pray for Jeff, Salina, Noah and the entire extended family. They still need covering.

Dear Jeff,
No words will soothe the pain of your loss. I know you are thankful that Karin is no longer suffering, but this knowledge does not change the absence of your precious wife.

God’s love can heal even a broken heart. Eric and I are praying for you and the children. As I grieve with you from Wisconsin, I recalled these words from a worship song our choir sings. The song is “Amazed” by Jared Anderson

You dance over me, while I am unaware;
You sing all around, but I never hear the sound.

Lord I’m amazed by You;
Lord I’m amazed by You;
Lord I’m amazed by You, and how you love me:

You paint the morning sky with miracles in mind;
My hope will always stand, for You hold me in Your hard.

Lord I’m amazed by You;
Lord I’m amazed by You;
Lord I’m amazed by You, and how you love me:

How deep, how wide, how great is Your love for me;
How deep, how wide, how great is Your love for me;

My word of encouragement for you:
God is dancing and singing over you, Jeff. His love is never ending for you and Noah and Salina. He will bring joy in the midst of your mourning. His Word says in Isaiah 61:3
“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.”

It is his promise that he will return to you a garment of praise, joy and beauty for your spirit of heaviness. God has blessed you with so many people to support you and the children as you move forward. We will be among them.

Love,
Eric and Dawnelise

Jeff...So sorry for the news I received via cell phone this weekend, while camping with my family. I love Karin...and was happy beyond words to get to spend a short time with her last week, when I dropped off dinner for all of you. Karin was bright-eyed and bushytailed and although we laughed a lot talking about all sorts of past and present things, we also cried a bit...and in true Karin fashion, SHE TRIED TO COMFORT ME! I laughed and said, "That's so Karin." I also told her she was an inspiration in the lives of many, including me. She always reacts surprised, but gracious when you tell her how purposeful her presence is and will continue to be in the lives of so many. I wanted to tell you that she told me what an amazing man she always thought you were, but how even MORE amazing you became through all this unexpected course. She also said that it really is true, that one can fall in love with the same person over and over again. She also told me how Salina was really having a hard time with it, and to pray for her. I have been...And, today when I was doing Jessica and Sophie's hair I thought of Salina...I don't know her personally, just from quick comings and goings, but I'd love to be able to do something special for her. I don't expect it to be anytime soon. But, when you think she's ready, I'd love to take her out for a day of 'girl time.' Maybe take her to get her hair done, nails, toes...whatever she'd like. I'd love to do that, and maybe if the opportunity presents itself, I'd like to share with her what a beautiful person her mom was, and how she inspired and still inspires me...

Love to you and your family.
